Senior shooters win three golds at World Master Shooting Sport Championship

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian senior shooting athletes won three gold medals at the 1st World Master Shooting Sport Championship, which is running in the Federal Republic of Germany on September 8-15.  


International Master of Sports Ts.Munkh-Erdene claimed the first gold medal with 244.5 score in men’s 10 meter air riffle event in 45-54 age category. In this event, German athlete Yu.Vallovski won silver medal with 243.2 score while Russian athlete and Olympic and World Champion A.Hajibekov took the third place with 218.2 score.


Moreover, shooter N.Tserendolgor won gold in women’s 50 m rifle prone while S.Batnasan captured another gold in men’s 50 m rifle prone (both in above 75 age category). A total of 15 senior shooters are participating in the tournament from Mongolia.
