O.Khangai wins silver at Ssireum wrestling competition

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/. Mongolian wrestler O.Khangai won a silver medal at Ssireum wrestling competition during the 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts Masterships held in Chungju, S.Korea from August 29 to September 6. In the final wrestling, O.Khangai was defeated by his Korean opponent.
With participation of 4000
athletes from about 100 countries, the 2019 Chungju World Martial Arts
Masterships brought 20 types martial arts including belt wrestling, wushu,
taekwondo, aikido, ju-jitsu, muaythai, ssireum as well as others that have
remained in the tradition, to the world.
Mongolian national team grabbed seven gold, eight silver and six bronze medals from the championships, taking 3rd place with the team score.
