State organizations resolved 400 thousand petitions and complaints in 2019

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. At its regular weekly on September 4, the Cabinet held a discussion on a bill on genetic reserves and the corresponding bills and decided to present to the Parliament. 


In the first half of 2019, central and local administrative organizations and officials received 395,459 petitions, requests and complaints. Some 97.6 percent or 386,004 of them were resolved within the period required by relevant laws. Most of the petitions and requests delivered by the citizens were issues  concerning social benefits, having the standard of living determined, child money program, land acquisition and use and employment. 


As of the first half of this year, 5018 citizens were received by the Cabinet Secretariat’s Citizen Service Center and 31.2 percent of them had their requests and complaints settled. 61 percent of them turned to the center to submit petitions, 29 percent for complaints and 9 percent for expressing gratitude for the government services. 


After discussing bills on ratifying the Financial Cooperation Agreement of the Biodiversity and Adaptation to Climate Change III project and on excise duty exemption, the Cabinet decided to submit the bills to Parliament. The agreement was established between the Governments of Mongolia and Germany.
