Vehicles of war period restored

Dornod/MONTSAME/ On occasion
of the 80th anniversary of the Victory of Khalkhin Gol Battle, a
competition to restore vehicles of war period was organized in Dornod aimag on
August 24. Car enthusiasts of the aimag participated in the competition.
The first place was won by
B.Odgiiv who restored GAZ-51 truck manufactured in Russia. The next places went
to B.Munkh-chudur who worked on Pickup M415 of 1937 and M.Bat-Erdene who
restored Trabant 601 manufactured in 1962.
The competition was
co-organized by the Commission responsible for organizing the 80th
anniversary of the Victory of Khalkhin Gol Battle, the aimag’s Auto Transport
Center and Traffic Police Department.
