NEMA to introduce comprehensive system on hazard management with United States Forest Service

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. First Deputy Head of the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan received defense attaché of the U.S. to Mongolia, Lieutenant Colonel Philip Shuang Luu on July 31.


At the start of the meeting, First Deputy Head of NEMA, Brigadier General G.Ariunbuyan expressed his gratitude for the partnership of the Embassy of the United States in Mongolia and the Defense Attaché Office in enhancing the emergency management sector of Mongolia. NEMA and the United States Forest Service are currently working to introduce a comprehensive system on managing accidents and hazards.


One of the examples of the partnership between the National Emergency Management Agency and the Defense Attaché Office of the United States is the ‘Gobi Wolf’ international exercise on eliminating disaster damages.
