Thunderstorm expected during Naadam

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/. During the Naadam Festival, thunderstorms are expected in the western region and in the western part of central aimags on July 11, in some parts of western and central aimags on July 12, in western and central aimags as well as the western part of the Gobi on July 13, and in some parts of the country on July 14.
Wind speed will reach 16-18 m/sec before the rains. Temperature is to rise in all parts of the country except the western region.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai and Khuvsgul, in the basins of Terelj river, the night-time temperature will range from +5 to +10 degrees Celsius, and the daytime temperature will be +16 to +21.
In the Gobi region and in the banks of Orkhon - Selenge, the temperature will be +17 to +22 during the night, and +31 to +36 during the day.
In other areas, the nighttime temperature will be +13 to +18 degrees Celsius, and daytime temperature will be +27 to +32 degrees Celsius.
