Respect paid to statues of General Sukhbaatar and Chinggis Khaan

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Today, on the occasion of the 2228th anniversary of the Statehood, 813th
anniversary of the Great Mongol Empire, 108th anniversary of Restoration of
Independence, 98th anniversary of the People’s Revolution, 30th anniversary of
the Democratic Revolution, and the Mongolian traditional celebration of Naadam
festival, a ceremony took place to lay a wreath at the Statue of D.Sukhbaatar
and pay homage to the Statue of Chinggis Khaan.
Present at the ceremony were President of Mongolia
Kh.Battulga, Speaker of the State Great Khural G.Zandanshatar, Prime
Minister U.Khurelsukh, cabinet members, parliamentarians, Ambassadors to
Mongolia, delegates of international organizations and civil representatives.
