Vietnamese ambassador works in Arkhangai aimagSociety
Arkhangai /MONTSAME/. Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to Mongolia Ms. Doan Thi Huong worked in Arkhangai aimag on June 3-4. The ambassador was received by the aimag governing body led by Governor of Arkhangai aimag Ts.Munkhnasan to discuss bilateral cooperation in the sectors of animal husbandry, education, health - medicinal herbs, tourism as well as in the export and import of products.
As this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Ambassador expressed the country's interest in intensifying inter-territorial cooperation and making investment in various sectors in the frameworks of the partnership.
Noting that 15 students study in Vietnam with scholarships from the Government of Vietnam, she also underlined the opportunity to have a student from the aimag study in Vietnam by establishing partnership with a province. The Socialist Republic of Vietnam was the first country of the Southeast Asian region to establish diplomatic relations with Mongolia.
