Ambassador N.Tulga presents his credentials to Secretary-General of International Maritime Organization

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On 28 May 2019, the Ambassador of
Mongolia to the UK, and Mongolia’s Permanent Representative appointee to the
International Maritime Organization (IMO) H.E Mr. Tulga Narkhuu presented his
credentials to Mr. Kitack Lim, IMO Secretary-General.
During the meeting, the Ambassador stressed on the
importance of maritime transport to the economic development and expansion of
foreign trade of Mongolia, a landlocked developing country, as well as the
activities and policies that were carried out by the government of Mongolia
within maritime transportation. He also requested assistance on training
specialists in this field.
Congratulating to Ambassador N.Tulga for his appointment as
a Permanent Representative to the IMO, Secretary-General K.Lim expressed his
readiness to exert all possible efforts to render support on the development of
Mongolia’s maritime transport and strengthening its capacity building.
