Indian health professionals work in Mongolia
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ With support from the Rotary Club of
Tuul and the Rotary Foundation of Rotary International, Indian healthcare
professionals have been providing on-the-job, hands-on vocational training at medical facilities in Ulaanbaatar since September, 2017.
This time, within the ‘Global Grant #1982181’ project funded
by Rotary Foundation, a team of 16 physicians and eight volunteers worked at
the State Central Third Hospital, National Center for Maternal and Child Health,
National Traumatology and Orthopedics Research Center, and Amgalan Maternity
Hospital, successfully performing 70 operations and granting necessary medical
equipment.
Deputy Minister of Health L.Byambasuren met with the team, presenting
the Ministry’s honorary medals to the team leader and the project’s coordinator
and director and certificates of appreciation to the team members. At the
conclusion of the meeting, project coordinator Mr. Rajendra Saboo expressed
gratitude to the authorities and health professionals of the health facilities
they worked, wishing the best for their future endeavors.
