Clinical skills room opens at Gobi-Altai’s central hospital
SocietyGobi-Altai /MONTSAME/ The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) granted
healthcare equipment worth MNT 38 million to the Maternal Department of the Central Hospital of Gobi-Altai aimag.
On April 20, a clinical skills room furnished with 11 training
equipment, was inaugurated at the department with the project team members in
attendance. Ms. Iliza Azyei, Assistant Representative at UNFPA Mongolia, said
“UN will open such rooms in all aimags and provide maternal health
professionals with an opportunity to polish their skills with practice”
Moreover, a 360 degree camera was installed at the department's intensive care
unit, enabling the staff to get advice from the National
Center for Maternal and Child Health through video calls during emergency
situations, she added.
Currently, central hospitals of Arkhangai, Zavkhan, and Gobi-Altai aimags have such rooms.
