Memorandum established on conducting feasibility studies of construction projects
SocietyUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On January 16, 2018, the Government
of the Republic of Korea agreed to grant a soft loan of USD 700 million to
Mongolia, of which USD 500 million is for the fight against air pollution in
Ulaanbaatar city.
The sides agreed to implement projects on constructing ‘Solongo
1, Solongo 2 apartment complexes’ and ‘Bayangolyn Am Rental Housing Complex’
within the aforementioned agreement. Thus on April 3, relevant government officials
of Mongolia and a representative of the Korea Eximbank (KEXIM) established a
Memorandum on commissioning and revising feasibility studies of the
construction projects with funding from KEXIM.
The projects will contribute to air pollution reduction by constructing 7026- apartment buildings for ger area residents.
