D.Nomin-Erdene wins the Best Chess Player’s Cup at tournament in Greece

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Women Grand Master D.Nomin-Erdene won the Best Chess Player’s Cup of the 5th International Open Chess Tournament Vardaris took place in Thessaloniki city of Greece on March 7-11.


A total of 290 chess players from 18 countries challenged their minds in 4 categories. Mongolia was represented by its two chess players in the competition and GM D.Nomin-Erdene became the winner of the prize by gaining 5 points at 7 games.


Additionally, she raised her world rating as winning at another chess tournament held in Novi Sad city of Serbia a week ago.
