MP B.Saranchimeg meets President of Open Hearts for Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ MP B.Saranchimeg met with Barbara Simeon, President of the Open Hearts for Mongolia, a non-profit Swiss association and G.Galtaikhuu, Head of the Galsan Tschinag Foundation on February 22. The two organizations have jointly been conducting numerous activities for green space expansion and environmental protection in Mongolia.
During the meeting, MP B.Saranchimeg thanked the NGO for making a valuable contribution to the green development of Mongolia and implementing numerous beneficial projects and programs. We are focusing on the improvement of legal environment in order to ensure eco-friendly lifestyle and to resolve some pressing issues”
Ms. Barbara
Simeon expressed her wholehearted willingness to continue to cooperate in
planting trees and expanding the green space and informed that representatives of
the association will soon head to the rural areas with an aim to help herders.
As for Galsan
Tschinag Foundation, it endeavors to plant one million trees in Mongolia, of
which 800 thousand have been already planted. Mr. G.Galtaikhuu highlighted the
foundation have conducted many activities together with the National Garden Park
when the MP was its head.
