Bolor Tsom poetry festival to be held in Gobisumber aimag

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 90th anniversary of the Mongolian Writers' Union (MWU) falls on January 9. Within the framework of the anniversary, a number of activities will be organized. Particularly, ‘Golden Feather’ award ceremony will be held on January 7, and a scientific conference and short-story contest will take place the day after.
Moreover, the 36th ‘Bolor Tsom’ (Golden Goblet)
poetry festival will take place in Borjigin Theatre of Gobisumber aimag on January 5. Poets from Russia’s Kalmykia, Buryatia
and Tuva, as well as Inner Mongolia of China will participate in this year’s festival.
On January 9, the last day of the anniversary celebration, homages will be paid to the Statues of Chinggis Khaan and MWU founder D.Natsagdorj, r and a plenary meeting of MWU will be organized.
