‘Blue gold’ documentary premiered in Ulaanbaatar

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia in collaboration with the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) organized an opening of the ‘Blue gold’ documentary on climate changes in Mongolia on December 19 in Ulaanbaatar.


The documentary, created by jointly the UNDP, Government of Mongolia and Raw Cinematics, was intended to depict the climate change, its impact on water and human lifestyle, particularly on livelihood of herders, as well as the consequence of air pollution.


During the discussion held following the premiere, representatives from media, NGOs, private sector and scientific institutes shared views on what contribution the government, civil society, press and media and individuals can make for

becoming resilient to climate change and solving water scarcity.


Permanent Mission of Mongolia to the United Nations and the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) hosted the opening of the ‘Blue gold’ documentary at the UN Headquarters on September 27.
