Deputy PM receives Head of State Market Regulatory Administration of China
PoliticsUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On December 13, Deputy Prime Minister
U.Ekhtuvshin met with a delegation headed by Zhang Bao, Head of State Market
Regulatory Administration (SMRA) of China.
The SMRA Head noted the establishment of a Memorandum of
Cooperation on consumer protection and competitiveness between the Authority
for Fair Competition and Consumer Protection of Mongolia and SMRA brings new
beginning in the cooperation and informed the Deputy PM that SMRA carries out comprehensive
inspections of pharmaceutical products, intellectual property and market.
Deputy PM U.Enkhtuvshin highlighted the Memorandum will make
great contribution in realizing decisions made at the intergovernmental
commission’ meeting, noting the two bodies have key role in increasing bilateral
trade turnover to USD 10 billion by 2020. He also made a comment that the sides
shall mutually exchange experience, lend support, share information and consult
regarding the issues of competition and consumer protection.
