Mongolian first chocolate art exhibition runs
Art & CultureUlaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The first chocolate art exhibition in Mongolia opened on November 30 at MN Art gallery.
21-year old N.Zonbileg intends to promote culture and history of chocolate and development of chocolate art through his works. Some 30 sculptures and paintings with chocolate are on display. To create these works, over 300 kg of chocolate were used and national chocolate manufacturer ‘Clown Bro’ LLC and Cielo Food N Bar supported the artist.
“Creating
artworks with such expensive material is difficult in our country where
chocolate manufacture has not been developed yet. But there is nothing
impossible. I am striving to develop myself to become a competitive artist in
the world,” he said.
Besides his chocolate works, numerous information boards about history of chocolate and cacao, interesting facts about the dessert and development of chocolate art of over 10 countries are demonstrated as well.
The exhibition is open till December 6.
