The QS company annually publishes global university rankings and its delegates are here in our country to give assistance in getting ranked globally.

At the start of the meeting, PM Yo.Baatarbileg said, “Mongolian graduate students, who continue on to study in foreign universities, tend to request the government to pay attention to whether our education meets the requirements on the global level. I express my gratitude to you for coming to Mongolia to advise and partner with Mongolian universities in meeting the requirements to be ranked globally.

He then highlighted that one of the objectives to be met by 2024 is to have at least one of the Mongolian universities listed in the top 100 of the Western Asia-Pacific.

CEO of QS Asia Mrs. Mandy Mok mentioned the request that was made by the Mongolian University of Science and Technology three years ago, at which time the university didn’t meet the requirements to be ranked.

The meeting was also attended by the president of the NUM Ya.Tumurbaatar, president of the MNUMS J.Tsolmon, senior specialist at QS Samuel Wong and Director at the Office of International Affairs of Nanyang Technological University Jenny Hallen Hedberg.
