Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The
Inauguration ceremony of the Honorary Consulate of the Democratic Socialist
Republic of Sri Lanka in Mongolia took place on October 31.
The first Honorary Consul of Sri
Lanka to Mongolia, Ms. D.Orgilmaa expressed her willingness to work towards
expansion of Mongolia-Sri Lanka relations and cooperation in all spheres, protection
of legal rights of the people of Sri Lanka living in Mongolia, and promotion of
the country in Mongolia.
Present at the ceremony were representatives of corresponding departments of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia, Ambassador of Sri Lanka to Mongolia Karunasena Kodituwakku, Khamba Lama of Gandantegchinlen Monastery, Mongolian Buddhist center D.Choijamts as well as people and entrepreneurs of Sri Lanka staying in Mongolia.
