モンゴル銀行は一週間に 5154億MNTを発券した。これ により今週の通貨流通高は1 兆5789億MNTとなった。一週間の通貨流通高は銀行 の資本金を調整するのに重要 で、モンゴル銀行の金融政策 の資金源である。このような 紙幣の利息はモンゴル銀行の 政策の利子になり、前払い利 息の役割を果たす。それで紙 幣発行は銀行で出た余剰で短 期間に利息をつけることがで きるため、銀行の資金調整が 明確になった。
