Ambassadors and representatives of foreign organizations compete in football

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The annual friendly football tournament among Embassies in Mongolia took place last weekend at Red Rock Resort of Gorkhi Terelj National Park.
The tournament, organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Golomt Bank, is significant to broaden cooperation of Ambassadors, diplomats, representatives of international organizations and staffs who represent their countries in Mongolia and strengthen informal friendly ties.
The nineth tournament brought together 250 athletes of 18 teams, involving teams of 14 Embassies in Mongolia as well as teams of the UN Mongolia, the Asian Development Bank, the World Bank and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Golomt Bank.
A team of the Embassy of Japan won Golden Cup of the tournament, followed by the teams of the Foreign Ministry and the Embassy of Kuwait respectively.
