Economic circulation of Tavan Tolgoi under preparation

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ At its regular meeting, the Cabinet was briefed about parliamentary resolution on intensifying actions to be taken for putting Tavan Tolgoi coal deposit into economic circulation and government resolution on the measures to be taken in regard with the 'Erdenes Tavantolgoi (ETT)' JSC.
A joint working group, appointed by the Ministry of Mining and Heavy Industry and the ETT, has completed the preparations to trade up to 30 percent of the company’s total shares on foreign and domestic stock exchanges.
In accordance with the resolution to trade up to 30 percent of the company’s total shares, it is necessary to amend the company's rule. Therefore, the cabinet decided to call an irregular meeting of the shareholders next month.
In connection with the activity of trading shares, the working group completed duties to receive advisory services on international audit, legislation and finance and re-estimate the deposit's reserve.
