Mongolian children to participate in International Photo Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ From this year onward, Mongolia will officially participate in the International High School Students’ Photo Festival 2018 (International Youth Photo Festival) which takes place in Higashikawa, a town located in Hokkaido, Japan.
The largest photo festivals in Asia involves high school students from 19 Asian and European countries. Mongolia’s participation in the event was initiated by the Mongolian Photographers' Association.
40 students from 20 high schools in Ulaanbaatar city and rural areas sent their works for the national level selection, starting from January and photos taken by three students of the Laboratory High School of Young Inventors were selected to compete in the festival.
Organizer of the event is fully responsible for the students’ expenses for accommodation, transportation, meals and event participation.
