Taiwanese physicians to provide medical services

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ At the invitation of the Governor of Bayan-Ulgii aimag A.Gilimkhan, a medical team consisting of 29 Taiwanese professional physicians and nurses have arrived in Bayan-Ulgii aimag with the aim of providing medical services free of charge with the support of a charity foundation of Taiwan.
The aimag Governor today received the team members and requested them to pay special attention to elderly people and underprivileged people in remote soums and bags.
During the meeting, the sides agreed to annually train some physicians of Bayan-Ulgii aimag in Taiwan under health cooperation.
The team will provide medical services free of charge between July 31 and August 3 at the Health Department and the Central Hospital of the aimag, performing medical examinations and offering appropriate medications.
