State and government heads watch Soyolon horse race

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ President of Mongolia Kh.Battulga, Speaker of Parliament M.Enkhbold and Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh watched the race of Soyolon (five-year old horse) on July 12.
Afterwards, Prime Minister U.Khurelsukh visited gers of winner and runner up horse trainers of Soyolon race and presented gifts to jockeys.
This year, a total of 197 soyolon horses participated, of which ‘Khongor Khalzan’ horse trained by State Vanguard trainer T.Galbadrakh from Arkhangai aimag won the race.
‘Khongor Khalzan’ horse was raced in the name of A.Biliguudei from Rashaant soum, Khuvsgul aimag.
Prime Minister of Mongolia U.Khurelsukh said, “As Mongolians conquered a half of the world on horseback, Mongolians have honored the horse from the ancient time. We should honor and respect our horse in the future too.”
