Mongolia is interested in cooperating with India for reducing disaster risk

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Deputy Prime Minister U.Enkhtuvshin today received Minister of State for Home Affairs of the Republic of India Kiren Rijiju, who arrived in Mongolia to attend the second Asian Ministerial Conference on Disaster Risk Reduction (AMCDRR) kicked off today.
The Deputy PM said Mongolia is interested in maintaining closer cooperation with India for reducing disaster risk in emergency management sphere which is an integral part of the bilateral ties. “Mongolia has a willingness to strengthen cooperation with India in scope of the United Nations and other international and regional organizations.”
In turn, Mr. Kiren Rijiju wished success in AMCDRR and said the two countries sharing spiritual and religious historical bonds have much potential to cooperate in future.
