Heavy rain warning for central and southern aimags

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On July 2, National Agency of Meteorology and Environment Monitoring has issued heavy rain alerts for the central and southern aimags and warned herders and citizens to remain cautious of flood caused by the heavy rain. Moreover, temperature drop is expected in northern parts of the country on July 5-6.
Rain along with thunder is expected in some areas of the country on July 3, in areas of western aimags and in western parts of central aimags on July 4, in some areas of western and central aimags and in northern parts of gobi aimags on July 5, and in areas of central aimags and in some areas of gobi and eastern aimags on July 6.
Wind will get stronger temporary before the rain.
In mountainous areas of Altai, Khangai, Khuvsgul and Khentii, the nighttime temperature will be +8 to +13 degrees Celsius, the daytime temperature will be +19 to +24.
Daily highs in gobi region will peak at +33 degrees Celsuis while the nighttime temperature will be +17 to +24 degrees Celsius.
Other regions will have relatively cooler daily highs at 27 degrees and the nighttime temperature will be +13 to +18 degrees Celsius respectively.
