State Secretary of Foreign Ministry receives OECD representatives

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On June 20, State Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Mongolia D.Davaasuren received delegates of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and development (OECD) led by Head of Eurasia Division William Tompson.
State Secretary D.Davaasuren noted that cooperation and relations between Mongolia and OECD are developing successfully and expressed his gratitude for organizing report presentation event of the Enhancing Competitiveness in Central Asia project, implemented jointly with the OECD between 2016-2018. He also emphasized the upcoming joint workshop on Enhancing Connectivity in Central Asia project to be implemented starting this year.
The parties exchanged views on diversifying economy and export of Mongolia, supporting SMEs, defining pressing issues of the regional transport connectivity, seeking ways to improve them through Enhancing Competitiveness in Eurasia, and transport infrastructure, electronic communication and regional cooperation.
