Foreign Affairs Minister pays call on Belarus PM and Speaker

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Foreign Affairs D.Tsogtbaatar, who is paying an official visit to the Republic of Belarus, paid a call on Prime Minister of Belarus Andrei Kobyakov and Speaker of the House Representatives of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko.

During the meeting with the Prime Minister, the sides emphasized the importance of developing friendly relations, expansion of the economic cooperation in particular, between Mongolia and Belarus in all aspects. They decided to focus on concrete implementation of mutual cooperation by establishing Agricultural Agro-park, milk production clusters and establishing manufacturing and service centers of Belarusian machinery and technical equipment in Mongolia as well as training professionals in many sectors such as agriculture, mining, transport, and construction under the implementation of the decisions from Mongolia-Belarus intergovernmental commission’s meeting.

Meeting with the Speaker of the House Representatives of Belarus Vladimir Andreichenko, foreign Affairs Minister D.Tsogtbaatar expressed willingness to closely and actively cooperate with the members of Belarusian House of Representatives by inter-exchanging parliamentary representatives including Mongolia-Belarus Friendship Group in the Mongolian Parliament and jointly participating in international events in order to develop relations and cooperation between the two Parliaments.

Two Parliaments also decided to work on expanding exchanges in business and art sectors and restore the tradition of student, pupil and professionals’ training in the Republic of Belarus besides inter-parliamentary activities based on mechanism for multilateral cooperation such as the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe and the Inter-Parliamentary Union.
