Mayor S.Batbold pays official visit to Hohhot

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Batbold is paying official visit to Hohhot, Inner Mongolia.
Mayor S.Batbold has met with Secretary of CPC Committe of Hohhot Yung Guanzhong and Mayor of Hohhot city Feng Yuzhen, holding talks on expanding cooperation between the two cities.

During the meeting, Mr.Yung Guanzhong said "Cooperation agreement between the two countries was signed in 1991. Since then relations are developing in all sectors, especially in arts, health and educational sectors. Also, Hohhot city has successfully organized a China-Mongolia expo twice to expand the economic cooperation between the two countries. Next year the third expo will be organized. I hope that Governor S.Batbold’s visit to Hohhot city will be the beginning of relations in new sectors."
Governor of the capital city and Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Batbold said “ Within this visit we aim to expand cooperation in city landscaping, agriculture, arts, culture and tourism. Our two cities have similar weather and same problem of air pollution. We would like to cooperate with the Hohhot city's Greenery Department to build greenery in Ulaanbaatar city and establish a street named after Hohhot city." He, also emphasized the importance of cooperation in tourism industry.
After the meeting, Mayor of the capital city and Governor of Ulaanbaatar S.Batbold and Mayor of Hohhot city Feng Yuzhen signed an agreement to jointly implement the discussed projects.
