Artists of Military Song and Dance Academic Ensemble receive Grand-Prix

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Artists of the Military Song and Dance Academic Ensemble received Grand-Prix of the 31st April Spring Friendship Art Festival took place in the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on April 10-17.

More than 600 best artists from 23 countries took part in the art festival. Mongolian artists including State Honored Artist Ch.Bayarmaa, B.Batbaatar and singer B.Narantungalag and B.Amarjargal performed songs such as ‘Morning of Mongolia’, ‘Dove’ and ‘Mongolian Steppe’ and songs of DPRK. Claiming six gold medals and a silver cup, Mongolian artists received the Grand-Prix of the festival.

This year marks the 70th anniversary of establishment of diplomatic relations between Mongolia and DPRK.
