Mongolian student to be appointed as a temporary Ambassador of Turkey

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Embassy of Turkey in Ulaanbaatar to host an event for children titled ‘Earth is not only for us: Let’s take care of the wildlife and environment’ on April 23-24.

The School No.5 named after M.K.Atatürk, School No.60 of Khan-Uul, School No.105 of Songinokhairkhan, School No.50 of Chingeltei districts, American School of Ulaanbaatar and Mongolian Children’s Palace will celebrate the event along with the Embassy. In this regard, trees will be planted in cortyard of the Embassy as a symbol of friendly relations between the two countries, Ambassador Ahmet Yazal will receive the students of secondary schools and appoint one student responsible for his position, an exhibition of drawings essays themed ‘Earth is not only for us: Let’s take care of the wildlife and environment’ and a pupils’ concert will held.

The National Sovereignty and Children’s Day in Turkey is celebrated on April 23 each year.  On April 23, 1920, the Grand National Assembly of Turkey was established and the founder of the country Mustafa Kemal Atatürk declared April 23 as Children’s day.
