Minister J.Bat-Erdene becomes honorary professor of Irkutsk Technical University

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 17, Minister of Road and Transport Development J.Bat-Erdene became the honorary professor of Irkutsk National Research Technical University.

During the ceremony rector of Irkutsk National Research Technical University M.V.Kornyakov said "We are happy that thousands of experts, heads of states scientists and researchers are graduators from our university. 14 persons were awarded with the honorary professors of our university and Minister J.Bat-Erdene becomes the second Mongolian awarded with the honorary professor."
L.Amarsanaa General Consulate of Mongolia to Russia, Irkutsk National Research Technical University's best graduate of 1998, former Deputy Minister of Road and Transport Kh.Erjan and 20 Mongolian fellows of the Minister J.Bat-Erdene attended the ceremony.  Minister J.Bat-Erdene also gave an interview to the Irkutsk media and met with the Mongolian students studying in the Irkutsk National Research Technical University and visited the dormitory where he used to live.

Within his visit to Irkutsk, Mr.Bat-Erdene met Governor of Irkutsk S.G.Levchenko and exchanged views on opportunities to cooperate in road, transport and trade sectors. Governor of Irkutsk S.G.Levchenko expressed his willingness to cooperate in road and transport sector to develop the tourism.

He, also congratulated Minister J.Bat-Erdene for becoming the honorary professor of Irkutsk National Research Technical University and said "This award is the important step in the development of friendly relations and cooperation between the two countries and encourages Mongolian students to study hard."
