Artists of Drama Theater of Chita, Russia to perform plays in Mongolia

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Artists of Drama Theater of Chita, Russia held a press conference today on performing a children’s play and musical comedy on April 9 and 10 in the Mongolian State Academic Theatre of Drama.
Originated from ‘Левша’ (Left-handed) novel written by Russian writer N.S.Lescov in 1881, a modern musical ‘Русский секрет’ (The Wonder of Russia) tells about ability of dexterous craftsman. The play ‘Волшебная лампа Аладдина’ (The Magic Lamp of Aladdin) dedicated to children above 12 years old will be staged on April 10. The two plays will be performed in Russian language with aim to held students who are learning Russian broaden their language knowledge, said the artists.

The theatre repertoire includes both Russian and foreign plays and the theatre is intending to expand foreign cooperation and promote their work to the world.
