Mongolia to cooperate with US Embassy on sending workforce to USA

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Labour and Social Welfare S.Chinzorig received Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy to Mongolia Manuel P. Micaller on March 27.
Minister expressed his opinion on importance of cooperation between Labour and Social Welfare Service Agency and US Consular office in Mongolia on sending workforce to USA. He also emphasized that the parties should organize a meeting in the near future and make certain solutions on workforce issues. Moreover, the Minister expressed his interest in concluding a Social welfare agreement between the two governments to improve social welfare of Mongolians working in the United States.
“Lately a lot of false information regarding H2 visa is occuring. I’m grateful for your concern and addressing us to solve this issue” said Charge d'Affaires of the US Embassy to Mongolia Manuel P. Micaller.
He also said “I’m hopeful that the Consular staff responsible for workforce and the Labour and Social Welfare Service Agency of USA will conduct meetings and make some suggestions in the near future. I will convey proposals regarding the intergovernmental cooperation and social welfare agreement issues”.
The US Embassy also expressed its willingness to implement an effective employment program for disabled people. In return Minister S.Chinzorig said that he’d be happy to accept the initiation, conduct relevant studies and cooperate on that.
