‘Polar Star-10’ arts festival to take place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ 'Polar Star-10' children's arts festival will be held on March 28-30 with a purpose to revive and promote the history, culture and traditions of Mongolians.

Today on March 21, organizers of the festival informed about the upcoming event. The festival will be held for the 10th year among high schools of Mongolian ethnic groups in association with the International Cultural Tourism Association, the Ministry of Nature, Environment and Tourism and the Sustainable Tourism Development non-governmental organization.

People's Artist N.Jantsannorov said that organizing 'Polar Star-10' children's art festival is important for training future generations who will inherit and promote the Mongolian traditions, history and culture in the future. He, also emphasized that the event opens up a big opportunity for Mongolian nationalities to act together towards  promotion of Mongolian culture.

400 children from Mongolia, Buryatia, Irkutsk, Zabaykalsky Krai are registered to participate in the festival. The first part of the festival will be held on March 28, 2018 in 'Nairamdal' International Children's Center. The Gala concert of the best participants will be held on March 30, 2018 in Mongolian Children's Palace.
