Newborn hearing screening devices donated

Ulaanbaatar/MONTSAME/ Within the project ‘Save silent world’, Ulaanbaatar Peace Avenue Rotary Club (UPARC) together with the Global Foundation for Children with Hearing Loss donated newborn hearing screening devices to the central hospitals of Nalaikh and Baganuur districts of Ulaanbaatar on March 14.
B.Kherlen, Director of the UPARC, Peter Boettcher, international sales manager of Path Medical GmbH, Germany and representatives of the project presented the devices to L.Tumurbaatar, chief of Ulaanbaatar Health Department.
UPARC in collaboration with the Global Foundation launched the project ‘Save silent world’ in September, 2016. The same year, the project contributed the hearing devices to maternal hospitals ‘Khuree’ and ‘Amgalan’, National Center for Mother and Child Health and the First Central Hospital. The project grants equipment and conducts trainings for Mongolia's maternal and regional hospitals and support families.
