Two dormitories in Khovd to be renovated with Japanese funding

Khovd /MONTSAME/ Agreements for two projects to be implemented under  Japanese Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects were signed at the Ceremonial Hall of Administrative Office of Khovd province on February 24.

The ceremony was attended by Masato Takaoka, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Japan to Mongolia, D.Galsandondog, Governor of Khovd Aimag and B.Ganbold, Head of the Governor's Office of Khovd Aimag and other officials.

Projects to renovate dormitory of the Minj Bulgan complex school and the school of Buyant soum will be realized with finance of USD 122.708 or MNT 294.988.498. These renovation projects are the 12th and 13th projects of Grant Assistance for Grass-roots Human Security Projects, being implemented in Mongolia between 2017 and 2018.

A total funding for the 13 projects amounts USD 915.812 or MNT 2.183.578.324.
