International scientific conference on European studies taking place

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The 2nd international scientific conference themed ‘European studies; language, culture, international relations and country studies’ is taking place in Ulaanbaatar on February 8.
The Institute of International Relations at the Mongolian Academy of Sciences (MAS) is organizing the conference.
The conference is attended by over 70 teachers and scientific workers of the National University of Mongolia, the Mongolian University of Science and Technology, the Mongolian National University of Education, the Mongolian National Defense University, the Institute of International Relations at the MAS and the National Intelligence Academy.
The international conference has a significant role in bringing cooperation among Mongolian universities, institutes, and research and scientific organizations to a new level.
During the conference, a total of 34 papers will be delivered and reviewed.
General and three sub-meetings are being organized including international relations and country studies, linguistics and translation and foreign language education. In each sub-meeting, 9-12 papers will be presented.
In 2017, the international scientific conference was organized at the initiative of the NUM for the first time.
