Foreign Minister meets Czech Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On November 10, Foreign Minister D. Tsogtbaatar met with Jiri Brodsky, Ambassador of Czech Republic, and exchanged views on present state of bilateral relations and issues of cooperation to be fulfilled in near future.

The Minister put an emphasis on recent dynamic relations and cooperation between two countries and stressed out of an importance to boost trade and investment cooperation.

D. Tsogtbaatar asked for collaboration on rendering supports to Mongolia’s SMEs to export their products to EU market, defining projects that will connect businesses of two countries and setting a certain goal to increase Czech investment.

At the meeting, the Ambassador introduced about current bilateral cooperation in energy, infrastructure, civil aviation and agricultural sectors of Mongolia.

The Ambassador said that the Embassy staff is persistently working to develop a long-term and mutually beneficial economic cooperation with Mongolia. He also stated that the Embassy is working to modernize Czech visa-application system for Mongolians in order to give more reliable, fast and convenient services.
