Foreign Minister meets Canadian Ambassador

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Foreign Minister D.Tsogtbaatar met David William Sproule, Ambassador of Canada to Mongolia, on November 6.
At the meeting, D.Tsogtbaatar expressed his satisfaction with current Mongolia-Canada relations and cooperation and underlined the importance of enhancing the bilateral economic relations in agriculture sector. The Minister also stated that Mongolia has a lot to learn from Canada’s experience to determine and implement economic and foreign trade policy.
The Ambassador emphasized a significance of defense sector’s relations along with political and economic relations and highly recognized Mongolia’s contribution to UN peacekeeping operations.
He added that the sides keep up an active cooperation within the development assistance program of the Canadian Government.
