Biocombinat’s full renovation discussed

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Minister of Food, Agriculture and Light Industry B.Batzorig received Mihaly Galosfai, Ambassador of Hungary, and J. Batzandan, Member of Mongolian Parliament and head of Mongolia-Hungary Parliamentary Group, on October 30.

At the meeting, the sides stressed importance to focus on currently slow-moving renovations of Biocombinat, state-owned industry which was built in 1973 under Hungarian assistance and is an expression of friendly relations between two countries. They also shared views on how to move forward the project and resolve pressing issues in the project.

A term of agreement on the project to be financed with soft loan of Hungarian Government will end in May, 2018; therefore two sides agreed to commence this project as soon as possible. The sides also decided to organize a technical video conference in near future. Moreover, the sides mutually agree on technical tasks of the project, which will enable to jointly draw up its feasibility study and establish a loan agreement. They reached a certain agreement.

Minister B. Batzorig expressed a confidence that traditional relations of two countries will widen in agricultural sector.
