Mayor of Ulaanbaatar presents at opening of ‘BOF 2017’ Festival

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On October 22, Mayor of Ulaanbaatar S.Batbold attended the opening ceremony of the Busan One Asia 2017 Festival during his working visit to the Republic of Korea. The festival targets young people who are interested in Korean cultures and Busan cultures.
In the sideline, S.Batbold held a no-tie meeting with Suh Byung-soo, Mayor of Busan.
Suh Byung-soo said, “It is the second time that we are organizing the festival. This year, it brings together about 50 thousand people in the Busan Asiad Main Stadium. Mayors of our partnering cities, including Ulaanbaatar and Saint Petersburg have arrived to present at the opening. I would like to express my gratitude to Mongolian artists who participated in the festival,”
In turn, S.Batbold expressed his gratitude for heartwarming welcome. “Ulaanbaatar city is young and the city of youth. Our goal is to become a regional city of tourism in Northeast Asia. We are studying experiences of Busan that is intensively developing tourism in recent years, and hope to expand bilateral cooperation in culture and tourism sectors,”
