Mongolian delegation participating in ASEM Customs Commissioners Meeting

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A Mongolian delegation led by B.Asralt, Director-General of the Mongolian Customs General Administration (MCGA), is attending the 12th ASEM Customs Director General-Commissioners Meeting running in Berlin, Germany.
The meeting is being attended by heads of customs authorities of over 50 members the ASEM. They are discussing works done in trade facilitation, which is reflected in the 2016-2017 Action Plan, and a formulation of further cooperation to be included in the 2018-2019 Action Plan.
At the meeting, B.Asralt presented outcomes of the 11th ASEM Summit held last year in Ulaanbaatar. On the sidelines of meeting, he met with Mikuriya Kunio, Secretary General of the World Customs Organization (WCO) and the Director Generals of the Customs Authorities of Japan, Malaysia, the People’s Republic of China, the Russian Federation and the Federal Republic of Germany.
