Acting PM meets ABU delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On September 27, Acting Prime Minister J.Erdenebat received Javad Mottaghi, Secretary-General of Asia-Pacific Broadcasting Union, and Klaus Bergmann, Director of the Deutsche Welle’s External Relations Division. They arrived here to take part in an international forum ‘International Television Development Approach’.
J.Erdenebat congratulated the delegation on the 50th anniversary of the first Mongolian TV channel, and wished them success for the forum.
“You have a very important role in providing the world with information. I express my gratitude towards ABU for contributions to a development of the Mongolian National Television and for cooperation in broadcasting international major competitions, such as, world championships, Summer and Winter Olympics. I believe that our collaboration will expand further in this matter,” said J.Erdenebat.
Thanking the Acting Premier for the audience, the ABU and Deutsche Welle representatives said they will widen the cooperation with the Mongolian National Broadcaster. They added that they will collaborate with Mongolia in broadcasting World and Asian Championships competitions and the 2020 Tokyo Summer Olympics.
