P.Orkhon comes 2nd in world ranking

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The United World Wrestling (UWW) has released the latest rankings of top wrestlers of the world in men’s and women’s freestyle wrestling and men’s Greco-Roman classes just before the 2017 World Wrestling Championships to be held on August 21-27 in Paris, France.
The rankings were based on results of the Ali Aliyev international tournament, Poland Open, Madrid Grand Prix and the Youth World Championships.
From Mongolia, 20 men and women wrestlers were involved in the latest rankings. According to the UWW, P.Orkhon IMS went up to the 2nd place after having won gold medals in the Poland Open and Madrid Grand Prix in the women’s -63 kg division. In this category, a State Honored Sportswoman and twice-world champion S.Battetseg was listed on 4th place.
Besides them, E.Bekhbayar was ranked 9th place in the men’s 57 kg category; Z.Zanabzar (men’s 57 kg)--14th place, G.Mandakhnaran (men’s 70 kg)--16th place, P.Onorbat (men’s 86 kg)--18th place, N.Zolboo (men’s 125 kg)--19th, D.Otgontsetseg (women’s 55 kg)--14th place, E.Davaachimeg (women’s 55 kg)--17th place and B.Shoovdor (women’s 60 kg)--12th place.
