Athlete B.Temuulen wins bronze medal from Ekaterinburg Grand Slam

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Mongolian judoka B.Temuulen gained a bronze medal in the men’s +100 kg category during the Ekaterinburg Grand Slam-2017 held in Ekaterinburg city of Russia on May 20-21. 
 
In the first round, he defeated Estonian judoka Juhan Mettis within 59 sec and Algerian judoka Nadger Timar on penalty in extra time to get selected in the quarterfinal. In the semifinal round, judoka B.Temuulen was defeated by David Mourad, from Brazil, and pocketed bronze medal.
 
20 judokas from Mongolia competed in the Ekaterinburg Grand Slam-2017 this year.
