Auto road law revised

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ Revised law on Auto Road was approved by Parliament yesterday, May 11. The new law indicated that quality guaranteed period for newly built road and road facilities would be three years in charge of the executed legal entity as well as technical and technology controller each.
MPs also backed proposals to include costs for consultancy on technology control and customer’s control in the budget of building road and road facilities, loss due to inaccuracy or error in the blueprint of road and its facilities should be fully recovered by the entity or the author, who made the layout, responsibility for error in conclusion on technical and technological renovation should be charged on legal body, who made feasibility work.
The auto road fund would cover necessary expenses for implementation of the law, training experts, operation of moving patrol, strengthening industrial basis of the entities in charge of auto road maintenance and repair, conducting research work, technological renovation and auditing, according to the law.
The revised law on Auto road will take effect from July 01, 2017.
