Speaker receives Czech Parliament delegation

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ On April 17, Monday, Parliament Speaker M.Enkhbold met with the Czech Republic delegation, led by Zuzka Bebarova-Rujbrova, Member of Parliament, Chairperson of the Standing Committee on Human Rights and Petitions and Head of Czech-Mongolian friendship group at the Czech Parliament, which is on a visit to Mongolia.
 
“It’s important to encourage direct relationship between businesses and organizations as people to people relationship becomes a bridge in strengthening bilateral relations”, remarked the Speaker during the meeting. He also appreciated the advancement of Mongolia-Czech relations in recent years. Records indicate that about 6000 Mongolians live and work in the Czech Republic.
 
For her part, Zuzka Bebarova-Rujbrova said, “The Czech Republic and the Czech people consider Mongolia and its people to be our friend”. She talked about how the two countries have been cooperating in many fields including education and geology.
 
The Czech side requested the Speaker to help resolve investment and mortgage loan issues concerning Ikh Khaadiin Tsuvaa Mongolia-Czech Joint Venture which is implementing apartment project in Orkhon aimag. Speaker M.Enkhbold replied that he would look into the matter.
 
The Speaker briefly touched upon the current economic slowdown in Mongolia, expressing confidence that Mongolia will overcome the problem soon on which Zuzka Bebarova-Rujbrova remarked, “Mongolia is a country of rich natural resources, but Mongolians are better resources. I am sure that Mongolia will succeed in dealing with the temporary obstacles”.
